Overview

The Scalable Vector Graphic format is the current recommended way to store, share, and use vector graphics - in fact, you could go so far as to say that composing SVG images is the entire reason that programs like Lil' Vector exist.

Exporting your image as an SVG file is remarkably straightforward, so there aren't many options available. At most, you can scale the entire image or choose to embed metadata, but this is the extent of it.

All of the shapes in your work will be saved when exporting to a SVG file. The only parts of your project that is not retained are the image's dimensions and background color, as neither make much sense for this type of image.

Note that the contents of your SVG file may be directly embedded in a webpage, as Lil' Vector does not create SVGs littered with unnecessary markup.
